We are a professional private chef company based in Cape Town, offering a service to all individuals, whether it’s at your home, on the beach or a private villa in one of the world’s most exclusive holiday destinations.

Paul van ‘t Hof is the Executive Chef and Owner of Devour Chef Works & Eatery. His amazing journey in professional kitchens began in 2004. With his true love and passion for food, he pride’s himself on giving a unique experience to his clients. Service excellence as well as having an awareness of simple, locally sourced ingredients to sustain our planet are key factors in his approach.

With over 15 years of experience, having worked in some of the most prestigious culinary establishments in South Africa and abroad – the likes of The Test Kitchen, Zachary’s, The Ledbury, Le Gavroshe and the Parlour, saw the beginning to his company Devour Chefworks & Eatery.


Devour Chef Works & Eatery provide unique private chef services, restaurant consultancy and boutique function catering.  We focus on applying exceptional detail, skill and craftsmanship in the work and service we provide, while keeping with our philosophy of fresh, organic and seasonal cooking. Our services range from long stays to individual functions. We offer a full villa service if required.

Private Chefs
